1982
Unique Business Systems (UBS) was established in 1982. The
vision was clear and simple: To provide innovative software
solutions for unique business needs. The next two decades
have witnessed UBS move from strength to strength. We have
extended our leadership to 5 industry verticals. Launched
over 15 products- each one a market leader. Established
offices to serve clients in 5 cities and 3 countries.
Shipped over 12,000 systems. And the most important - have
established relationships with more than 3,000 customers.
2003
Twenty three years ago we defined success as excellence in
what we do. Our success has been built on strong business
principles and ethics. The unshakeable cornerstones upon
which UBS has been built are: our focus, our people, our
customers and our services.
Our Focus
We have been focused on delivering the best software
solutions for inventory/asset management, tracking and
scheduling. We are acknowledged as leaders in this domain.
Our focus on developing solutions around these specialized
needs is a major reason for our successes. We have
successfully implemented inventory management and asset
tracking solutions for some of the largest companies
worldwide.
Our People
UBS has over 80 employees. Over 75% of our employees are
technically qualified and experienced. We have 4 offices
worldwide including a Technology Center at Salt Lake City
that focuses on exploiting emerging technologies and a
Software Development Center in India where a strong talented
team helps us build some of our best products. Our employee
turnover is amazingly low. We are proud that we are able to
retain talent in great demand and thereby add to the ever
increasing domain expertise of the company

Our client base comprises of over 3000 businesses and our
software is used at more that 12,000 locations. We are proud
to have sustained relationship with leading companies like
Krogers, Safeway, Nikon USA, WDW, Bexel, Salt Lake Olympics
2002 and Giant Eagle.

Milestones in our History
Unique Business Systems (UBS) was established in 1982. Since
its inception, the company’s focus has been on providing
software solutions for inventory management, tracking,
scheduling and point of sale. The experience and expertise
gathered over the last 20 years has established UBS as the
leading provider of rental management software for the
Audio-Visual, Video, and Equipment rental markets.
UBS provides its customers a comprehensive range of services
including Business Consulting, Customization, Training,
Project Implementation and 24/7 Technical Support.
UBS pioneered Video Rental Software in 1982. UBS also
provided the industry with the standard software interfaces,
which enabled revenue sharing between Video Rental Industry
and the Motion Picture Studios.
UBS has successfully implemented complex mission critical
systems for large companies. These include, Safeway®,
Krogers®, Salt Lake Olympics 2002, MotoPhoto®, Bexel®, as
well as the world’s largest Theme Park and Entertainment
Company (WDW).
